To communicate or submit reports to the zonal and regional offices. Also, make a monthly and quarterly report on the branch performance. To make sure that all the necessary messages are clearly conveyed to lower-level staff. 

Sales and Cross-Selling

To promote banking products and services such as credit cards, loan services and mutual funds. As a PO you have to make sure that you meet the sales target that has been set by the branch manager. 

Digital Banking Assistance

As a probationary officer, you have to give information regarding the net banking, UPI, and other digital services to the existing and new customers. To handle tech-related issues such as failed transactions, password resets. Along with all these, they have to promote the usage of digital banking methods more among the customers. 

SBI PO Training and Probation

As already mentioned above, there will be a two year probation period and after that the officers has to give an assessment. The scores they get in the examination will decide their promotion as assistant managers. 

During the probation period, one has to go for rigorous training in which they are trained on subjects like retail banking, agricultural finance, corporate credit, and foreign exchange.
