Understanding the GATE Exam Pattern and Syllabus for 2024

In order to succeed in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), candidates must put in a lot of effort and attention. Marking SchemeQuestions carry 1 mark and 2 marks
Negative MarkingThere will be a negative marking for a wrong answer in an MCQ. For 1-mark MCQ, 1/3 mark will be deducted for a wrong answer. Likewise, for a 2-mark MCQ, the 2/3 mark will be deducted for a wrong answer. There is no negative marking for wrong answer(s) to MSQ and NAT questions.
