Tips Tricks to Avoid Negative Marking for IBPS PO Exams

1. Improve Vocabulary:
A rich vocabulary is essential to excel in the English section. Start reading newspapers, magazines, and books regularly to encounter new words. Keep a vocabulary journal to jot down unfamiliar words and their meanings. Use flashcards or word quizzes to revise and reinforce your learning.

2. Enhance Reading Skills:
Reading Comprehension is a significant part of the English section. Practice reading passages from various sources and work on understanding the central theme, main ideas, and supporting details. Focus on improving your reading speed without compromising comprehension.

3. Practice Grammar Rules:
A solid grasp of English grammar is crucial. Revise fundamental grammar rules such as tenses, articles, prepositions, subject-verb agreement, and sentence structure. Practice grammar exercises to reinforce your understanding.

4. Work on Sentence Formation:
The ability to construct grammatically correct and coherent sentences is essential. Practice sentence formation exercises regularly to enhance your writing skills.

5. Solve Previous Year Question Papers:
Solving previous year question papers and mock tests is invaluable for exam preparation. It helps you understand the exam pattern, assess your performance, and identify areas that need improvement. Analyze your mistakes and work on rectifying them.

6. Time Management:
Time management is crucial during the exam. Develop a strategy to allocate time for each section and stick to it during practice sessions. This habit will enable you to attempt maximum questions within the given time frame.
