1. Master Static GK with Smart Strategy

Static GK contains a large number of topics and has a high weightage in the SSC CHSL exam. One can score at least 20-25 marks if he/she has a good grasp of knowledge on the static part of the general awareness. Focus on:

  • History: Freedom Movement (1857 to 1947), Important Congress sessions, Reformers and their contributions, etc.
  • Geography: Physical geography (rivers, mountains, soil), Indian states and capitals, National parks & wildlife sanctuaries, etc.
  • Polity: Constitution: Preamble, Fundamental Rights & Duties, Important Articles and Amendments, Union and State Governments, etc.
  • Economy: Basic terms (GDP, inflation, budget), Five-Year Plans (basic facts), Organizations like RBI, SEBI, etc.

Tip: Make short notes or flashcards and revise regularly.

2. Strengthen General Science
