Types of Syllogism in the Reasoning Section

The questions asked in any competitive exam from Syllogism are of 4 types:

Fundamental Syllogism

In this type of Syllogism in the reasoning section, the conclusion should be always 100% true. If the conclusion is 99% accurate then, it is considered false.

Either OR Case Syllogism

In the Either OR Case Syllogism, when the conclusions are not 100% true. It can be 50% true and 50% false. The Either OR Case will be formed in that case only. It is necessary that both statements have the same number of elements. 

Coded Syllogism

Statements and Conclusions are given in the coded form. Candidates have to decode the statements to solve the coded syllogism questions. 

Sequential Syllogism

In the Sequential Syllogism, the statements are followed by the options. Candidates need to choose the set of statements in the third statement that is deducted logically from the first two statements in the question.
