Filling out the form is super easy if you follow the right steps. Since SSC has recently updated its website, the application process now involves a simple One-Time Registration (OTR) followed by the actual form filling.

Step 1: One-Time Registration (OTR)

If you are a new user or haven’t registered on the new SSC portal yet, you must complete this step first.

  1. Go to the official SSC website (ssc.gov.in).
  2. Click on the “Login or Register” button at the top right corner.
  3. Select “Register Now” and hit “Continue”.
  4. Fill in your personal details, create a strong password, and complete the basic declaration.
  5. Helpful Tip: You can use Aadhaar-based authentication to make the process much faster!

Step 2: Fill the Application Form

Once you have your Registration Number and Password, you are ready to apply for the job.

  1. Log in to your account using your details.
  2. Find the link that says “SSC Selection Post Phase-XIV/2026” and click on the “Apply” button.
  3. Fill in all the requested details very carefully.
  4. Capture a live photograph (using your phone or laptop webcam) and upload your scanned signature.

Important Alert: New Change in Exam Pattern!

Please note that SSC has introduced a big change this year. The Computer-Based Test (CBT) will now have Sectional Timing. This means the computer will give you a fixed amount of time (15 minutes) to complete each of the 4 sections (Reasoning, General Awareness, Maths, and English). You will have a total of 60 minutes to answer 100 questions, but you cannot jump between sections freely like before.
