SSC will provide a correction facility from 28 September to 30 September 2026 up to 11:00 PM.
Only candidates whose completed application has been successfully received within the prescribed application period, along with the required fee wherever applicable, will be allowed to make corrections.
Candidates will be permitted to modify and resubmit the application up to two times during the correction window.

Both Paper-I and Paper-II are Computer-Based Examinations. The engineering subject attempted by a candidate depends on the discipline/post and the subject selected in the application form.
Paper-I is qualifying in nature and is used to shortlist candidates for Paper-II based on normalized marks and the prescribed minimum qualifying criteria. Final merit and allocation are based on Paper-II performance and the post/organisation preference submitted by candidates.

The marks of Electrical and Mechanical branches are normalized accordingly, and the different subject papers for Scientific Assistant in IMD are also treated appropriately for normalization.

Paper-I is qualifying in nature. Candidates are shortlisted for Paper-II on the basis of normalized Paper-I marks, while final merit is prepared using Paper-II performance and the applicable post/organisation preferences.
After the Computer-Based Examinations, SSC will place the tentative answer keys of Paper-I and Paper-II on its website.
