Out of the lakhs of candidates who attempted the exam for the 1,731 vacancies, only those who scored above the official cut-off have made it to the merit list. How to Check SSC Junior Engineer Result 2025-26?

If the direct links are loading slowly due to heavy traffic, you can easily download the result from the official website by following these simple steps:

  1. Visit the Official Website: Open your browser and go to the new SSC portal: ssc.gov.in.
  2. Go to the Results Section: Look at the top right corner of the homepage and click on the “Results” tab.
  3. Select the JE Exam: Click on the “JE” category. You will see a link that reads: “Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical & Electrical) Examination, 2025 – List Of Shortlisted Candidates for Tier 2 Exam”.
  4. Download the PDF: Click on the link under the “Result” column. The official Merit List PDF will open on your screen.
  5. Search Your Name: This is a long list. Do not scroll manually! Press “Ctrl + F” on your keyboard (or use the “Find in Page” option on your mobile) and type your Roll Number or Name.
  6. Check Your Status: If your name and roll number are highlighted in the PDF, congratulations! You have qualified for the Tier 2 exam.

What are the minimum qualifying marks in the SSC JE Exam?

According to SSC rules, candidates must score a minimum of 30% for UR (General), 25% for OBC/EWS, and 20% for all other categories just to pass the exam. However, selection is strictly based on the final cut-off marks, which are much higher.

I cleared Tier 1. Will I get the job directly?

No, clearing Tier 1 only makes you eligible for the Tier 2 examination. Your final selection will depend on your combined performance in both tiers, followed by Document Verification.
