SSC Junior Engineer 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates targeting to crack the Junior Engineer exam should know eligibility criteria details including educational qualification and age limit before applying online. The required educational qualification for Junior Engineer (JE) post is a bachelor’s degree/diploma in engineering from a recognized college/university. The maximum age limit for SSC Junior Engineer (JE) posts is upto 32 years of age. Relaxations beyond the upper age limit are provided as per the government regulations. 

Selection Process of SSC JE 2023

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) updated on the selection process of Junior Engineer posts. The exam is conducted in three phases:

• SSC Junior Engineer (JE) Tier I
• SSC JE Tier II
• Document Verification

Applicants need to qualify for all two stages to reach the document verification stage in Junior Engineer’s exam selection process. SSC JE paper 1 is an online-based test and paper 2 is a descriptive pen and paper-based test. Furthermore, candidates are penalized for wrong answers in Paper 1.
