SSC JE City Intimation Slip 2026 is available through the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) candidate login following the official notice dated 23 October 2026. Candidates who applied for the Junior Engineer Examination 2026 can check their allotted examination city and date by visiting the official website at ssc.gov.in and logging in with their registered credentials.
The SSC JE Paper-I examination for Junior Engineer disciplines and Scientific Assistant papers under the relevant examination schedule is set to take place from 2 to 6 November 2026. The examination for Junior Engineer (Telecommunication) is scheduled separately for 30 November to 1 December 2026. Candidates should check their individual login for the examination information available for their application. If the city details are not visible yet, they should revisit the portal and follow the latest official instructions.
The SSC JE city intimation slip helps candidates plan their travel in advance. However, it is not the admit card and cannot be used for entry into the examination centre. Candidates must download their Admission Certificate, also known as the admit card or e-call letter, separately when it becomes available.
The Staff Selection Commission published a notice dated 23 October 2026 regarding the examination city and Admission Certificate for the Junior Engineer Examination 2026, Paper-I.
Candidates can use the official login facility to check their examination city and date. The availability of information should be verified through each candidate’s own account rather than assumed from another candidate’s status.
The Commission’s latest instructions also cover the tentative timing of Admission Certificate downloads and certain requirements for candidates opting for their own scribe. Candidates who are also covered by the Scientific Assistant subject-selection instructions should review those requirements carefully.

The SSC JE City Intimation Slip notice was published on 23 October 2026. Candidates should check the city information available through their account rather than rely on estimated release dates circulated online for individual examination batches.
The examination schedule is as follows:
| Examination / Paper | Scheduled Exam Dates | City Details |
|---|---|---|
| Junior Engineer examination papers covered in the main Paper-I schedule | 2 to 6 November 2026 | Check the official SSC candidate login |

For JE (Telecommunication), candidates should monitor the official website for the city-intimation update closer to the examination dates. Do not treat an estimated date shared by an unofficial source as a confirmed SSC announcement.
Some candidates may be unable to see their allotted examination city immediately. This does not, by itself, establish that their application has been rejected or that their examination has been cancelled.
If the city details are not visible, candidates should follow these steps:
1. Check your login details: Verify that you are using the correct username or registration details and password for the current SSC portal.
2. Check the correct examination: Make sure you have opened the Junior Engineer Examination 2026 section, rather than a link for another SSC examination.
3. Log in again later: If the relevant information is not available in your account, revisit the official portal and check for updates.
4. Check official notices: Read any new instructions or updates published on the SSC website.
5. Recover your account if necessary: If you cannot log in, use the account-recovery facility available on the official website.
6. Contact the Commission when appropriate: If the problem continues or details appear incorrect, use the official SSC help or regional contact information provided for your examination.
Candidates should not share their passwords or verification codes with unauthorised individuals claiming to provide exam-city information.
Candidates should check the examination information displayed after logging into their SSC account. Depending on the details made available through the portal, candidates may see:
Candidates should verify all the information shown on their account. They should refer to the Admission Certificate for the final examination-centre address, reporting instructions and other details necessary on the examination day.
