SSC GD Constable Eligibility Criteria 2022

SSC GD Eligibility Criteria: SSC GD Exam Dates have been announced by the Staff Selection Commission. The exam is scheduled to take place between January 10th and February 14th, 2023. Candidates who have applied for this exam must begin their preparations immediately. All candidates who apply for the exam must meet the SSC GD eligibility criteria as laid out by the Commission. SSC GD Constable: Nationality

In terms of nationality, candidates must meet the requirements listed below. To be eligible to take the exam, candidates must be:

  • Citizen of India, or
  • A subject of Bhutan, or
  • A subject of Nepal, or
  • A Tibetan refugee who migrated to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently residing in India, or
  • A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Uganda, Kenya, or the United Republic of Tanzania.

SSC GD Constable Eligibility: Age Limit

Candidates can apply for various posts in the SSC GD Exam, and the age limit for each of these posts varies. Candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 23 as of January 1, 2023. In the normal course, candidates should have been born between 02-01-2000 and 01-01-2005. However, after a three-year (03) age relaxation, the candidate should not have been born before January 2, 1997.

SSC GD Eligibility: Age Relaxation

In addition to the age limits stated above, the SSC provides age relaxations to candidates who fall into the following categories:

SSC GD Eligibility: Educational Qualifications

SSC specifies the educational qualifications that candidates must have in order to be considered for various positions in the SSC GD Exam. Every candidate should have necessarily passed Matriculation Examination from a recognized board.
