If you are preparing for the SSC CPO exam, you might be wondering what topics you need to study and how to plan your preparation. In this article, we will provide you with a detailed overview of the SSC CPO exam syllabus and some tips on how to ace it.
The SSC CPO exam is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) to recruit candidates for various posts of Central Police Organization (CPO), such as Sub-Inspector (SI) in Delhi Police, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) in Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).
The SSC CPO exam consists of four stages: Paper-I, Physical Standard Test (PST)/ Physical Endurance Test (PET), Paper-II and Detailed Medical Examination (DME). The syllabus for each stage is different and we will discuss them one by one.
Paper-I is an online objective test that consists of 200 questions for 200 marks. The duration of the test is 2 hours. The questions are divided into four sections: General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English Comprehension. Each section has 50 questions for 50 marks. There is a negative marking of 0.33 mark for each wrong answer.
