SSC CHSL Study Plan 2025 for 45 Days: Phase-wise

We have divided the SSC CHSL study plan for 45 days into phases. This will help you to study for the SSC CHSL exam in three phases.

Phase 1: Days 1–15 – Build Your Foundation Strong

  • Focus on mastering basic concepts in all four sections. It will help you move on to the advanced-level questions later. You are advised to start your preparation with the most scoring Quant topics like number systems, percentages, and ratios.
  • Build your reasoning skills by practicing puzzles, coding-decoding, and series questions regularly.
  • Revise important English grammar rules such as tenses, articles, and prepositions to strengthen your language section.
  • Stick to a fixed daily study routine, dedicating specific time blocks to each subject for consistent progress.
  • Keep a mistake log to note tricky questions or errors and review it often to identify and improve on weak areas.

Phase 2: Days 16–35 – Practice Hard and Identify Weaknesses

  • Start taking two sectional tests daily, one in the morning and one in the evening, rotating subjects to build both speed and accuracy.
  • Create and revise a personal cheat sheet with key formulas, grammar rules, and GK facts for quick and efficient daily revision.
  • Solve previous years’ question papers every two days to understand the exam pattern and spot frequently asked questions.
  • Practice with a timer to simulate real exam conditions and boost your time management skills under pressure.
  • Stay consistent with current affairs, spending 20–30 minutes daily on trusted sources like AffairsCloud or GK Today and taking notes to remember key updates.

Phase 3: Days 36–45 – Mock Tests, Revision, and Final Touches

  • Take one full-length mock test every day and analyze it carefully to get a real exam scenario and get familiar with the exam conditions. It will build stamina and improve your performance under pressure.
  • Carefully analyze your mock test mistakes to understand where you went wrong and make sure you don’t repeat the same errors.
  • Revise high-scoring topics like data interpretation, time and work, puzzles, cloze tests, and static GK to sharpen your strengths.
  • Go over your notes, cheat sheets, and shortcuts, but avoid starting any new topics to keep your revision focused and stress-free.
  • Maintain a healthy routine — Make sure you are getting enough sleep, eating well, and taking short breaks to stay mentally sharp and confident for exam day.
