SSC CGL 2023 Selection Process

SSC CGL 2023 examination is conducted in four tiers a detailed overview of the selection process is indicated below.

  • SSC CGL Tier I exam is of qualifying nature. Candidates have to meet the cut-off score requirements to reach Tier II level to clear the exam in one go.
  • SSC CGL Tier II Exam: It is compulsory for all candidates to appear in the Tier I examination.
  • Candidates who applied for the Junior Statistical Officer position in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation need to give paper II in Tier II exam of 2023.
  • SSC CGL Tier II Paper III is for those candidates who applied for Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Account Officer posts.
  • All candidates successfully completed the online application process will be given admit cards 15-20 days before Tier I examination.
  • Candidates who qualify Tier I will appear in Tier II and the merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained in Tier II.
  • Seperate cut-off score lists are for Tier II’s paper I, II and III.
