SIDBI will conduct the SIDBI Grade A Phase 1 or Prelims Exam on 6th September 2025. You have 53 days left to prepare, so you must start your preparation. Clearing the SIDBI Grade A exam secures you a post as an Assistant Manager (Grade A) in the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI). A a Grade A officer, you’ll be directly involved in Financing and supporting MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises), implementing government schemes for SME growth, and promoting entrepreneurship and innovation. In short, you’ll get an opportunity to support India’s economic development from the grassroots level. To help you achieve this goal, we provide you with a practical week-wise study plan covering each exam section.
The selection process has three phases:
Single paper with 7 sections, totaling 200 marks.
Candidates must clear the cut-off set by SIDBI to qualify for Phase II.
Qualifying Sections: English, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and Computer Knowledge
Merit Sections:
Only marks from the Merit Section are considered for shortlisting to Phase II.

SIDBI Grade A Phase I Exam will be conducted on 6th September 2025. How does this plan work? This 8-week plan focuses on covering all 7 sections of the Phase I objective paper, including both qualifying and merit-based sections. SIDBI Grade A Phase II Exam will be held on 4th October 2025. How does this plan work? The Phase II includes two papers: one Descriptive English Test and one MSME & Finance paper (objective + descriptive). This 4-week plan (starting from week 9 to week 12) pays attention to building your writing, critical thinking, and advanced domain knowledge. Allocate 3 to 4 hours daily: 1.5 hours for English writing and 2 hours for Paper II. Weekly writing and mock sessions will improve expression and structure.
