SEBI Grade A Reasoning- How to Revise?

With about 4 days to go for the SEBI Grade A 2022 exam, we are certain that you would be on top of your preparation and would have shifted gears to revision mode. The preparation for any exams depends on two things, i.e. first, how well your concepts are clear on any given topics and second, how well you are utilizing your time to revise whatever you have studied. 

In this article, we shall be suggesting some of the tips on revision strategy, which you may follow to enhance your preparation for the upcoming exam. Further, to be more focused, we shall be limiting the discussion to the SEBI Grade A Reasoning section. We have already covered the SEBI Grade A General Awareness Revision Strategy in this article which you may like to go through.

Revision strategy for Reasoning:

  • Since you have already studied all the possible topics that can be asked in this section, we would suggest you to now to categories those topics into Easy, Moderate and Difficult. The reason we are asking you to do this is because you can allocate the time for revision accordingly. We would suggest you to spend more time in practicing questions on those topics that you find difficult and less on easy ones. Also, while practicing questions on any topic you should look for varieties.
  • Topics, such as blood relation, directions, syllogisms, statement assumption and conclusion, should be prioritized as they can be quickly solved with high accuracy.
  • You should also focus on questions on Data Sufficiency as they can solve quickly without much of calculation/working. However, you should have solved variety of questions on it as they can tricky at times.
  • Practice hundreds of question on each of the topics before the exam. Remember, the more you practice the better your revision would be.
  • Make a habit of taking at least one mock test only reasoning section daily and then evaluate your answers with the correct answer. You can take a free mock test of SEBI Grade A exam . This will help you understand your strength and weak areas. At this juncture, we would suggest you to focus more on your strength than the weak areas and avoid studying any new topics.

Final Comments:

The only way to score well in this section is by ensuring that you read and understand the requirement of the questions well. It will be a big risk not to understand the question. Further, move of the next without any time in case you feel that you are not clear with the requirement of the question as you will always be running against the time.
