SEBI Grade A Notification 2025 has been released for 110 vacancies. The SEBI Grade A Phase 1 exam will be conducted on 10th January 2025, and interested and eligible candidates should begin their preparations immediately. Candidates who are interested and eligible should start their preparation immediately, as the syllabus is vast. The exam requires a strategic approach to cover all sections effectively, and sectional cut-offs can be challenging. Success in SEBI Grade A requires not only hard work but also a systematic approach covering both Phase 1 (Preliminary) and Phase 2 (Mains). In this article, we are providing a 2-month master preparation roadmap that will help candidates systematically plan their studies, revise key concepts, practice mock tests, and maximise their chances of selection.

If You Are a First-Time Aspirant

If you’re appearing for the SEBI Grade A 2025 exam for the first time, it’s natural to feel overwhelmed by the vast syllabus and multiple stages of the exam. The key is to start with a clear strategy, focusing on strong fundamentals across all sections: General Awareness, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and English for Phase 1. For Phase 2, first-time candidates should start with theoretical topics like the Companies Act, management and economics, as these form the foundation and are easier to revise. Once your conceptual understanding is strong, move on to numerical and application-based topics like financial calculations, accounting problems, and case studies. This approach ensures you first build a solid foundation and then hone your problem-solving skills, making your Phase 2 preparation more structured and effective.

If You Are Already Preparing

If you are already preparing for SEBI Grade A 2025, your focus should now be on strategic revisions and strengthening weak areas. Start with the high-weightage topics and prioritise them in your study plan. Concentrate on mock tests, previous year papers, and practice questions to improve speed and accuracy, especially in General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, and English for Phase 1.

Additionally, Phase 2 preparation should be more focused and advanced, covering your chosen stream thoroughly along with optional subjects. Regular self-assessment and time-bound practice will help you manage exam pressure and refine your approach. By revising systematically and analysing mistakes from mock tests, aspirants who are already preparing can consolidate their knowledge and maximise their chances of success in both Phase 1 and Phase 2.
