SBI PO 2023 Call Letter for GE and Interview (under Phase – III)

SBI PO stands for State Bank of India Probationary Officer. It is a three-stage exam conducted by SBI every year to recruit eligible candidates for the post of PO in its branches across India. The three stages are Preliminary Exam, Mains Exam and Interview.

The Interview is a crucial part of SBI PO selection process as it tests your personality, communication skills, knowledge and attitude. It also carries 50 marks out of 250 marks for final merit list.

So how do you prepare for SBI PO Interview? Well, first of all, you need to download your SBI PO Interview Admit Card from the official website of SBI.

SBI PO Interview Admit Card is a document that contains your personal details, roll number, interview date, time and venue. You need to carry this admit card along with a valid photo ID proof (such as Aadhaar card, PAN card etc.) on the day of your interview.

To download your SBI PO Interview Admit Card, you need to follow these steps:

1) Visit the official website of SBI – www.sbi.co.in
2) Click on “Careers” tab on the top right corner
3) Click on “Current Openings” under “Join SBI”
4) Click on “RECRUITMENT OF PROBATIONARY OFFICERS IN STATE BANK OF INDIA (ADVT: CRPD/PO/2022-23/18)”
5) Click on “Download Call Letter for Phase 3”
6) Enter your registration number and password/date of birth
7) Click on “Login” button
8) Your SBI PO Interview Admit Card will be displayed on screen
9) Download it and take a printout

You should check your admit card carefully for any errors or discrepancies. If you find any mistake or if you are unable to download your admit card, you should contact SBI helpline number or email id given on their website.

You should also read all the instructions given on your admit card carefully and follow them strictly. You should reach your interview venue at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time. You should dress formally and carry all necessary documents with you.

Some of the documents that you need to carry with you are:

  • Printout of SBI PO Interview Admit Card
  • Printout of online application form
  • Proof of date of birth (such as class 10th certificate)
  • Proof of identity (such as Aadhaar card)
  • Proof of educational qualifications (such as mark sheets and certificates)
  • Proof of work experience (if any)
  • Caste certificate (if applicable)
  • Disability certificate (if applicable)
  • Any other relevant document

You should also prepare well for common interview questions such as:

  • Tell me about yourself
  • Why do you want to join SBI?
  • What are your strengths and weaknesses?
  • What are your hobbies and interests?
  • How do you handle stress and pressure?
  • What are your career goals?
  • How do you deal with difficult customers?
  • What are some current affairs related to banking sector?
  • How do you use technology in banking?

You should also be aware of some basic facts about SBI such as its history, vision, mission, values etc.
