Summarize the Passage in Your Own Words

When it comes to reading an RC passage, aspirants tend to read the same in a flow without making out that what actually it is all about. We would suggest you to make this as a habit:

  • Read the passage slowly and then try to summarize the same in your own words whatever you have learned in the passage.
  • Read the next sentence and try to connect with what all you have already read.
  • Keep reading and repeat this process of summarizing in your own words wherever you stuck.

Though, it’s a time-consuming process, but will have benefits in the long run. The more you will summarize the passage the better understanding you will develop.

  • To get the gist of the passage try and read it aloud
