RRB PO/Clerk Notification 2023 Important Notice on CIBIL Score!!

IBPS RRB official notification is out on its website. A major update that is confusing aspirants is on CIBIL score. Want to know about credit history & CIBIL score? 

Important Notice: Candidates who don’t have any bank account are not required to submit any CIBIL score status at the time of joining.

• Candidates applying for RRB PO/Clerk shall ensure to maintain a healthy credit score of 650 or above respectively at the time of joining any participating RRBs’.
• Those candidates whose CIBIL scores are not updated before the date of joining any participating RRBs. So, they have to submit NOC from the lender institution at the time of the joining date.
• Any qualified candidate is unable to submit CIBIL score/NOC. Then, the offer letter of those candidates will be canceled/ withdrawn.

Disclaimer: Allotted RRBs hold the right to disallow candidates to cancel thier offer letter if they don’t meet the CIBIL Score eligibility criteria.

What is CIBIL Score?

CIBIL is a rating agency and its full form is Credit Information Bureau India Limited. It is an RBI-authorized credit bureau managing and collecting information on the credit history of a person, public or private establishments. CIBIL Score is a three-digit number ranging from 300-900. The score derived by using details is found in the accounts and enquiries sections on your CIBIL report. Maintain an ideal CIBIL score closer to 900 so, the chances are higher to get loans easily. It is based on the 36 months of your credit history.

Do you want to check your CIBIL Score with your credit history? Follow the step-by-step guide to check your CIBIL Score online through the government agency TransUnion CIBIL’s official website.

• Open the website of TransUnion CIBIL i.e. https://www.cibil.com/.
• Select the option of Get CIBIL Score from the Credit Report Products Section
• Type your details email address and password. Attach relevant documents and proofs of Adhaar Card and PAN card. Enter the details of the PIN code, date of birth, and phone number.
• Click on the option of Accept and Continue.
• You will get an OTP on your registered mobile number. Type OTP in the respective section.
• Click on Continue.
• Select and go to the dashboard to check your CIBIL score online.
