RRB Group D Computer-Based Test (CBT) is a huge exam that takes place over many days (27th November 2025 to 16th January 2026). Over 1.08 crore (10,822,423) candidates registered for 32,438 posts. To manage the large number of candidates, the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) conducts the exam in three separate shifts every day. What to Carry & What Not to Carry (Exam Day Checklist)?

Being ready on the exam day is just as important as your preparation. Follow this simple checklist:

Must Carry (Important Documents)

• RRB Group D Admit Card: A clear, printed copy of your Hall Ticket.
• Valid Photo ID (Original): Carry the original copy of any one ID (Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, PAN Card, Driving License). The name on the ID must match the name on the Admit Card.
• Photo: Two passport-size colour photos (the same as the one uploaded in your application).
• Aadhaar Card: This is often required for biometric fingerprint verification.

Do Not Carry (Strictly Banned Items)

• Electronics: Mobile phones, Smartwatches, Calculators, Bluetooth devices, Earphones.
• Personal Accessories: Wallets, Purses, Belts, Shoes (wear sandals or open footwear), and any metallic ornaments (like rings, chains, or bangles).
• Paper/Study Material: No books, notes, or paper sheets. Rough sheets and a pen will be given to you inside the exam hall.

How to Check Your Shift and Center Details?

1. City Intimation Slip: Released about 10 days before your exam date. This slip shows your Exam City and Exam Date so you can plan your travel.
2. Admit Card (Hall Ticket): Released about 4 days before your exam date. This is the official document that contains the full details, including the exact Shift Timing, Reporting Time, and the full address of the Exam Center.
