RRB Group D Computer-Based Test (CBT) is a huge exam that takes place over many days (27th November 2025 to 16th January 2026). Over 1.08 crore (10,822,423) candidates registered for 32,438 posts. To manage the large number of candidates, the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) conducts the exam in three separate shifts every day. Knowing your report timing is very important because if you are even a minute late, the gate will be closed, and you will not be allowed to sit for the exam. The RRB Group D CBT is a 90-minute (1 hour and 30 minutes) paper. It has 100 questions and carries 100 marks. Since the exam is held in different shifts, the final scores are often adjusted (normalized) to keep things fair. The table below shows the full schedule for the three shifts:
