There are some tricks or methods that you can use to solve the reading comprehension with accuracy and in less time. 

• Read the questions first before reading the passage. Because now, when you’re reading the passage, you can find the keywords that were asked in the questions and focus on those points. It will reduce the time that you might spend if you first read the passage and then the questions, and then come back again to the passage.
• For vocabulary questions, find the meanings of the words by understanding the context in which they are used.
• Do not spend too much time on a question. Skip that question for later, as it will only consume your time.
• It is essential to focus on words that signal the shift of points in the argument. These are transition words such as ‘however,’ ‘therefore,’ and so on.
• Do not assume anything, what is given in the passage stick to those facts only.
• For inferences focused on the central theme of passages.
• See whether the author is using a positive tone, or negative tone or a neutral one. For inference-based questions, you need to know the tone of the passage.
• Sometimes, synonyms and antonyms are asked; answer them if you know the correct answer only. Do not guess it; instead, use elimination techniques.
• Practice RCs on a daily basis, as it will help you to get accuracy in your answers along with speed.
