Note:

  1. Candidates belonging to OBC category but coming in the ‘Creamy Layer’ are not entitled to OBC reservation. They should indicate their category as ‘General (GEN)’.
  2. ^Out of 156 vacancies for Grade ‘B’ (DR)-General, 7 vacancies are reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) Category, viz. 2 vacancies for candidates of blindness and low vision; 1 vacancy for deaf and hard of hearing; 2 vacancies for locomotor disability including cerebral palsy, leprosy cured, dwarfism, acid attack victims and muscular dystrophy; and 2 vacancies for multiple disabilities from amongst persons, as detailed below in para 1 of Note for PwBD candidates.

RBI Grade B 2020 Eligibility Criteria

RBI Grade B 2020 Eligibility Criteria- Age Limit

The details of age limit which RBI Grade B aspirants must fulfil are below. These details are for RBI Grade B 2019 notification. The details of RBI Grade B 2020 notification will be updated once the notification is out.

(As on Sep 01, 2019)

  • Minimum: 21 years
  • Maximum: 30 years

In other words, he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd September 1989 and not later than 1st September 1998.

Note:

  1. The upper age limit will be relaxed up to a maximum of five years for candidates belonging to a Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe
  2. The upper age limit will be relaxed up to a maximum of three years in the case of candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes.

RBI Grade B 2020 Eligibility Criteria- Educational Qualification

Below are the minimum educational qualifications which RBI Grade B aspirants should possess.

Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – DEPRA Master’s Degree in Economics / Econometrics / Quantitative Economics / Mathematical Economics / Integrated Economics Course/ Finance, with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters /years from a recognised Indian or Foreign University /Institute; ORPGDM/ MBA Finance with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters /years from a recognised Indian or Foreign University /Institute; OR Master’s Degree in Economics in any of the sub-categories of economics i.e. agricultural/ business/ developmental/ applied, etc., with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters /years from a recognised Indian or Foreign University /Institute.

Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – DSIMA Master’s Degree in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Mathematical Economics/ Econometrics/ Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Kharagpur/ Applied Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Bombay with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters / years; ORMaster’s Degree in Mathematics with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters / years and one year post graduate diploma in Statistics or related subjects from an Institute of repute; ORM. Stat. Degree of Indian Statistical Institute with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate of all semesters / years; ORPost Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA) jointly offered by ISI Kolkata, IIT Kharagpur and IIM Calcutta with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/years.

COVID- 19 – Preparation Strategy for Bank Exams During Lockdown in India

Note:

  1. The candidate must hold a valid degree.
  2. Some Universities/Institutes/Boards do not award Class or percentage of marks and allot Aggregate Grade Points (e.g. CGPA/OGPA/CPI, etc.). Where the University/Institute/ Board does not define criteria for conversion of Aggregate Grade Point into percentage of marks, in the degree/passing certificates, the undefined parameter(s) would be worked out as under:

Note:

  1. Candidates have to secure minimum marks separately for each test as well as in aggregate, as may be prescribed by the Board.
  2. Candidates, who secure minimum marks separately for each Test, as prescribed, will be shortlisted for Phase-II of the examination based on the aggregate marks obtained in Phase-I.
  3. The minimum aggregate cut-off marks for being shortlisted for Phase-II of the examination will be decided by the Board in relation to the number of vacancies. RBI Grade B 2020 Interview

  1. Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview, based on aggregate of marks obtained in Phase-II (Paper-I +Paper-II +Paper-III).
  2. The minimum aggregate cut off marks for being shortlisted for Interview will be decided by the Board in relation to the number of vacancies.
  3. The Interview will be of 50 marks.
  4. Candidates may opt for interview either in Hindi or English.
  5. Final Selection will be through merit list which will be prepared by adding marks secured by candidates in Phase-II examination and interview.
