RBI Grade B – What to do when you feel stuck?

Online Application for the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Grade B Exam 2023 is flooding the RBI website from 9th May 2023 and it will continue till 9th June 2023. However, preparing for this exam is not an easy feat. You need the iron will, an idiot-proof game plan, perseverance, guidance and the right tools to evaluate your progress. The difficulty level of the exam is hard and why not, after all? RBI Grade B Officer is one of the most prestigious posts in the banking sector. It is considered equivalent to Group A officers in other government services. The RBI Grade B Officer can get promotion up to the level of Deputy Governor, which is the second-highest rank after the Governor of RBI.

Phase I

Phase-II

The Phase II exam consists of three papers. English is completely descriptive while the other two papers are a mix of objective & descriptive questions. Each paper is allocated 100 marks.

How to break out of the standstill when you feel stuck?

  • Don’t base your goals only on how people perceive them. Choose them only when you’re really passionate about it. When you’re able to connect your purpose with the job, the more you learn, the more excited you are.
  • Visualize your dreams every day. On visualization, you start connecting to the different aspects of the job and study becomes more exciting simply because you’re seeking this information.
  • Regularly take Mock Tests. It will motivate you. Make you more competitive and help you assess your progress.
  • Set small goals and celebrate small wins. Be proud of your achievements no matter how small they are.
  • Find a routine that works for you. Organizing your work helps you get work done on time and takes the burden off your head
  • Engage in peer support. It helps you develop a fresh perspective on the topic. Apart from that interacting with another person makes work enjoyable.
  • Stay jovial. Kick stress out the window by practicing deep breathing exercises or unleashing your inner zen master. And when in doubt, sprinkle some humor on stressful situations – laughter is the best sidekick to motivation!
