RBI Grade B 2025 Revision Tips

Preparation and revision both play a pivotal role in RBI Grade B Phase 1 and Phase 2 preparation. Both these things are important to fetch maximum marks in the RBI Grade B 2025 exam. Now that there are only a few days left for the Phase 1 exam, you should start your revision with the best resources. Mock tests are your best tool to practice, self-analyse, and improve. And so are Past year papers, which help you understand the difficulty level of the questions that pop up in the exam. Revision makes sure you retain what you have studied. Staying updated with the economy, finance, and banking is non-negotiable. And for the English Descriptive Paper, you must practice writing regularly.

Practical Tips:

Keep timing yourself while writing essays or précis.

  • Phase I is all about speed.
  • Phase II is about how deeply you understand a concept.

But both phases need strong recall. That’s why revision is not optional. It’s the backbone of smart preparation. Without it, even the best efforts fall short. So, you should plan your revision for the last 15 days smartly.

RBI Grade B Admit Card 2025

The admit card is your entry pass to the exam hall. Without it, you cannot sit for the test. RBI will release the RBI Grade B Admit Card 2025 a few days before Phase 1. You should download it on time and check all the details printed on it. If there’s any error, get it corrected. Carry your photo ID along with the admit card. Follow the reporting time and instructions written on it.

RBI Grade B Cut Off Trends

Cut-off marks decide whether you move to the next stage. They change every year. The trend depends on paper difficulty and the number of applicants. Some years cut off rises. Some years it falls. So, don’t aim at just clearing the cut-off but aim higher. A safe score is always better. Keep practicing mock tests to stay above the average line.

So, prepare both phases together to get ready for Phase 2. It is better to take free mock tests to examine your level before starting your preparation. You must increase your answering speed, the accuracy of your responses, and your confidence. This is the route to sure-shot success.

Pre-Examination Training (PET)

The RBI Grade B Notification 2025 clearly mentions that the Reserve Bank of India will arrange free online Pre-Examination Training (PET) for candidates who belong to SC, ST, OBC, and PwBD categories. This training is designed to help aspirants understand the exam pattern, practice questions, and gain confidence before the real RBI Grade B test. It will be provided for Phase I and, if the candidate qualifies, for Phase II as well. Many aspirants from these categories eagerly wait for this facility every year. It reduces exam fear and gives them the right direction to attempt the paper effectively.

RBI Grade B Preparation Strategy

With the RBI Grade B Notification 2025 now out, the countdown has begun. Phase I for the General stream will be held on 18th October 2025, followed by DEPR/DSIM on 19th October 2025. That gives you barely a month to get battle-ready. The first step is to prepare for both Phase I and Phase II together. Why? Because Phase II is scheduled for December, you’ll get less than two months after prelims. So don’t wait for Phase I to finish and plan in advance.

Focus on speed and accuracy for Phase I. Practice daily mock tests to sharpen your timing, especially for GA and Reasoning. For Phase II, give equal time to ESI, Finance & Management, and English writing skills. Current affairs, reports, and schemes must be revised daily as they overlap in both phases.

Therefore, you should make a timetable for each week. In the mornings, you should invest time in reading and clearing your concepts. The evenings should be given to problem-solving sessions and revision. Save weekends for mock test analysis and writing practice.

Don’t forget that Phase I acts as the eliminator round, while Phase II decides the rank. So, Smart preparation and regular practice are the prime ways to clear the RBI Grade B this year.

Takeaway

The full-fledged RBI Grade B 2025 notification you were waiting for is out! Now the real work starts. Don’t forget that Phase I is known as the silent eliminator. On the other hand, Phase II will test your analytical writing and the depth of your knowledge in your field. That’s why a smart strategy matters much more than hours spent on studies. So, you need to use your time smartly, plan your revision perfectly, and pay attention to both the speed and understanding. You’ll not just have to study for the exam, but train your brain to give your best performance on the exam day.
