Management is an important and scoring part of Paper II in the Phase 2 exam. It comes under ‘General Finance and Management.’ Through this portion, you can fetch approximately 20 to 25% marks in this section, because it is not as heavy as finance-related topics. The questions in this Management part will test your understanding of the Fundamentals of Management, Organizational Behaviour, Leadership, and Development. Therefore, if you have a good understanding of the Management topics, you will be able to perform well in the responsibilities and decision-making related to the Grade B post. Although this part has more theories compared to finance, it is essential to have a deep understanding of those theories to answer related questions. Management is a part of Paper III, Finance, Management, and Ethics. It tests candidates’ knowledge with management-related questions. 50 percent of the questions General Finance and Management part are objective, and 50 percent are descriptive types. You’ll have to give typed answers to the descriptive questions, using a keyboard (not with pen and paper mode). Plus, you also get the option to type in Hindi, if you don’t feel comfortable typing in English.
