The Punjab National Bank (PNB) has released its official notification for Local Bank Officer (LBO) Recruitment 2025, announcing 750 vacancies across India. Candidates preparing for this recruitment must go through the latest PNB LBO Syllabus and Exam Pattern 2025 to align their study plan with the updated structure and maximize their score in the exam. PNB LBO Exam Pattern 2025

The PNB LBO 2025 Online Exam is structured to test candidates across five sections, with a total of 150 questions carrying 150 marks. Each section has a specific duration, allowing candidates to manage time efficiently during the examination. There will be a negative marking for wrong answers.

Punjab National Bank LBO Language Proficiency Test (LPT)

After qualifying in the online exam, candidates who have not studied the local language of the state they applied for in Class 10 or 12 will have to appear for the Language Proficiency Test (LPT).

  • The LPT is qualifying in nature its marks are not added to the final merit list.
  • It tests a candidate’s reading, writing, and speaking skills in the respective local language.
  • The purpose is to ensure that selected candidates can effectively communicate with customers in the local area.
