You need to balance both English writing and technical subject preparation smartly.
Here’s how to plan your next 4 weeks after Phase 1:
This paper has an Essay, a Precis, and a Reading Comprehension. Your writing must be clear, structured, and formal.
This paper checks your ability to write and understand the official language. Good grammar and structure matter most.
The syllabus is the same as Phase 1 Paper 2, but more in-depth questions are asked. Revise concepts, not just MCQs. The syllabus for Paper 2 in Phase 2 is the same as Phase 1, but the questions are asked at a higher difficulty level. You need a deeper understanding, better revision, and focused practice to score well. Here’s a subject-wise strategy to guide your preparation.
This is a key subject for most candidates from a commerce background. It includes standards, analysis, transactions, and statements. You must be clear with theory as well as practical problems.
Management is mostly theoretical but can be scoring with smart revision. The subject includes concepts on leadership, motivation, planning, and communication. Short notes and repeated revision will help you remember key theories and models.
Costing includes calculations, costing methods, and systems like JIT and lean manufacturing. It is scoring but needs practice to remember formulas and cost types. Try to understand the logic behind every method.
Economics in Phase 2 will focus on conceptual depth and application. Make sure to revise core models like IS–LM, national income, and inflation types. Practice MCQs based on economic indicators and terms.
Finance questions will be slightly advanced and conceptual. You must be familiar with markets, instruments, and current reforms. This is one of the most important areas in both Paper 2 and the interview.
Only specific chapters are included in the syllabus, so focus your efforts accordingly. Read from simplified notes or bare acts for clarity. Make a list of frequently asked sections and their key points.
This is a unique and PFRDA-specific subject. Questions are mostly fact-based and can be easily prepared through targeted reading. Focus on government pension schemes and structure of NPS.
You have only 4 weeks between Phase 1 and Phase 2. So, you must use your time wisely. Divide your weekly hours between subject revision, descriptive writing, and mock tests. This table will help you stay focused and cover both Paper 1 and Paper 2 efficiently.
| Activity | Hours/Week |
| Paper 2 Subject Revision | 15–18 hrs |
| Descriptive Writing Practice | 6–8 hrs |
