OLIC Recruitment 2023 Age Limit

OLIC Recruitment 2023 Age Limit: A candidate must have attained the age of 21 (twenty-one} years as of 01.01.2023 and must not be above the age of 38 years.

• Candidates from various categories may apply for age-related benefits and benefits related to reservations in accordance with the government rules established for that purpose.

• For candidates from the Scheduled Castes (S.C.), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Socially & Educationally Backward Class (SEBC), Women Ex-Servicemen, and Persons with Disabilities category, whose permanent disability is 40% or more, the upper age limit may be relaxed by 5 (five) years and by 10 (ten) years, respectively.

OLIC Recruitment 2023 Education Qualification:

A candidate must have possessed a degree in Engineering in Civil for the post of AEE (Civil), a Degree in Engineering in Mechanical for the post of AEE (Mechanical), a Degree in Engineering in Electrical for the post of AEE (Electrical) or an equivalent qualification from any University or Institution recognized by the Government or he/she must be an Associated Member of the Institution of Engineers of India in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical.

• A candidate must have possessed a Diploma in Engineering in Civil for the post of JE (Civil), a Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical for the post of JE(Mechanical), a Diploma in Engineering in Electrical for the post of JE(Electrical) or an equivalent qualification from any University or Institution recognized by the Government or he/she must be an Associated Member of the Institution of Engineers of India in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical.

• A candidate must have possessed a graduation in Arts/Science/ Commerce or such other qualification as is equivalent to +3 examinations from any University or Institution recognized by the Government.

OLIC Recruitment 2023 Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must be a citizen of India.
• He/ She must be of good character and of sound health and free from any organic defect and physical infirmity.
• He She must be able to read, write and speak Odia and have
• Passed Middle School Examination with Odia as a language Subject.
• Passed Matriculation or equivalent Examination with Odia as a medium of examination in the non-language subject.
• Passed in Odia as a language subject in the final examination of | Class-VIl from a School or Educational Institution recognized by the Government of Odisha or the Central Government: or d. Passed a test .in Odia in Middle English School Standard conducted by the School and Mass Education Department/Board of Secondary Education, Odisha.
• A candidate, who has more than one spouse living, will not be eligible for appointment unless the State Government has exempted his/her case from the operation of age limitation for any good and sufficient reasons.
