The Oriental Insurance Company Limited(OICL) has announced 300 vacancies for the post of Administrative Officer Scale 1 (285 Generalists and 15 Hindi Officers) through a detailed Notification which has been released on its official website www.orientalinsurance.org.in. A candidate must satisfy all the eligibility criteria, including Educational Qualification and Age Limit, as specified in the detailed notification. Generally, a Graduation degree is the minimum requirement for the Generalist post.

The OICL AO selection process is conducted in three distinct phases: Preliminary Exam (Tier-I), Main Exam (Tier-II), and Interview. The Main exam further consists of an Objective Test and a Descriptive Test.

A descriptive test will be taken online by the Oriental Insurance Company Limited for 30 marks for a duration of 30 minutes.
The syllabus for the OICL AO exam is divided into two distinct tiers: the Preliminary Examination (Tier-I), which is qualifying, and the Main Examination (Tier-II), which accounts for 80% of the final merit score.

The OICL AO Prelims Admit Card will be issued approximately 7-10 days before the scheduled examination date of January 10, 2026. Candidates will be able to download their admit card from the official OICL website using their Registration Number and Password.
The result for the OICL AO Prelims exam will be declared tentatively a few weeks after the examination is conducted. The final merit list and selection result, based on the combined marks of the Mains Exam and Interview, will be issued after the conclusion of all recruitment stages.
