Tips to crack the NICL AO Mains 2025

1. Focus on the Subjects You are confident in

Begin with the subjects you are confident in. This will help you build momentum and make you confident. Once you’re comfortable, move to the weaker areas gradually.

2. Follow a Fixed Daily Routine

Make a study timetable that suits your time. Divide your time for Reasoning, Quant, English, GA, Computer, and Descriptive. Study GA every day for at least 1 hour.

3. Practice Puzzles and DI Daily

Reasoning and Quant are scoring but tricky. Practice 2 puzzles and 2 DI sets daily to improve your speed and accuracy. Because they are high-weightage questions.

4. Give Extra Time to General Awareness

GA is the easiest way to score more marks in less time. Cover May to July 2025 current affairs, static GK, and insurance topics. Revise regularly.

5. Attempt Mock Tests Weekly

Attempt 2–3 full mocks every week. Analyze your results after each mock to know your strengths and weaknesses. Work on the areas where you’re losing marks.

6. Practice Descriptive Writing

Write one essay or a precis every alternate day. Focus on current topics. Use a simple format: Introduction, Body, Conclusion. Stay within word limits and avoid grammatical errors.

7. Revise Tricks and Shortcuts

Make a notebook of important formulas, reasoning shortcuts, computer basics, and revise it every 2–3 days. It helps during quick revision before the exam.

8. Stay Calm and Positive

Avoid last-minute stress. Believe in your preparation. Stay away from negative thoughts or comparisons. Consistency and a calm mind will help you succeed.
