• There will be MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions) carrying 200 marks.
• The total duration of the exam will be 120 minutes.

Here are some tips & tricks for the Quantitative Aptitude section:

• While answering a Data Interpretation question, go through the question again and see exactly what it’s trying to ask. Often, in data interpretation questions some unnecessary data are given that you don’t need to consider.
• Number Series questions are one area where by regular practice you can grab hold of a handful of marks. It all depends on how quickly you decode the pattern on which the asked number series is based. And this skill can be mastered only through prior practice. Number series can be based on prime numbers, square/cubes, geometric series, odd one out, cube roots and square roots, or even patterns in differences and alternate numbers. The pattern can also be a combination of any of the above factors.
• Solve one question at a time without thinking about other questions in the question paper. In case you feel that the question is taking an unexpectedly long time, move to another question.
• Don’t presume any information while solving the data sufficiency questions. Consider each statement individually to see if it can answer the question. Also, consider their combination if it is sufficient to answer the question. Remember: you don’t have to find out the answer; rather you need to find out if the information provided is sufficient to answer the question.
• Please keep in mind the time you’re spending on each question. Ideally, you should pick the easy & moderate questions first, and then move to difficult questions.
• Take a lot of mock tests to evaluate your performance. And based on the analysis, you can improve on your weak areas.
