NABARD Grade A Exam Analysis – Subject-wise – SHIFT 1

Economic and Social Issues

Basic in nature – factual, non-factual, and analytical questions were asked. Overall, the quality of the questions was average. And any serious aspirant who must have prepared religiously will be able to appreciate the paper.

ARD

Nothing was there out of the syllabus. A regular aspirant will easily get a hold of the questions.

General Awareness

Nothing out of the box. If you are somebody who has been regular with our monthly or weekly GA PDFs and with subject-oriented GA of ESI and ARD, you will easily cover this section in the exam hands down.

Decision Making

The questions seemed difficult at first but when you begin to solve them you will notice answers are given in the question and options themselves. The ones who would have read the questions carefully will easily crack this section. Read the question and options multiple times in the upcoming shifts to avoid confusion.

Quantitative Aptitude

The questions were very much in line with the given syllabus. No surprises. The questions were doable.

Reasoning Ability

Even this section was doable and had no surprises as such. Three arrangements were asked – 2 bigger and 1 small. The afternoon aspirants should take note that they shouldn’t do the arrangements questions first. Instead, do all other questions and then attempt 1 arrangement and that will be enough for you to qualify.

Computer Awareness

It was the most difficult section of the entire paper. 50% of the question were a good attempt. Ideally, 10-12 questions were doable out of 20. Attempting maximum questions here wouldn’t make sense.

English Language

Nothing challenging there. Any regular aspirant with decent English will make it through.
