9. The Union Territories of Lakshadweep and the district of Badgam in Jammu and Kashmir have been declared TB Free on World TB Day (24 March) this year.
10. IIT Kharagpur has emerged as winners at CoreNet Global Academic Challenge 6.0, sponsored by Cushman and Wakefield, KI and IA: Interior Architects.

• It is for the first time that a squad from India has emerged as winners in this Challenge since 2015.

11. Chief of Defence staff Bipin Rawat has formally commissioned Indian Coast Guard ship ‘Vajra’ nto service at Chennai.
12. Centre plans to issue 14-digit identification number termed as Unique Land Parcel Identification Number (ULPIN) to every plot of land in the country by 2022.

4. Hyderabad-based startup, Maithri Aquatech has set up world’s first mobile water from air kiosk and Water Knowledge Resource Centre in Visakhapatnam
   • Through this, potable water will be harvested from air instead of depending on water resources
5. Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ has virtually inaugurated Ānandam: The Center for Happiness in Indian Institute of Management, Jammu
   • Centre will be divided into 5 categories: counselling, holistic wellness, elective courses on happiness development, Research-Leadership and faculty development.
