The LIC AAO 2025-26 recruitment was conducted in the following stages:
Phase 1: Preliminary Examination A screening-only exam (Reasoning + English + Quant) worth 70 marks. Marks from this stage are NOT counted in the final merit list.
Phase 2: Main Examination The merit-deciding stage. Objective Test (300 marks) + Descriptive Paper (qualifying). The 120-question objective paper tests Reasoning, GK/CA, Insurance/Financial Awareness, and English.

Phase 4: Pre-Recruitment Medical Examination Conducted for finally shortlisted candidates. Qualifying in nature.
Final Selection: Based on the combined marks of Mains Objective Test (300) + Interview (60) = Total 360 marks.
