Cracking the IBPS PO exam in one month is challenging, but not impossible, provided you approach it with dedication, discipline, and strategic planning. Success depends on several factors:
Prior knowledge: Candidates having a basic understanding of quantitative aptitude, reasoning, or English are at an advantage.
Study hours: It is important to study daily for 8-10 hours to cover the syllabus as soon as possible.
Resource quality: Using reliable study material and mock tests can streamline preparation.
Focus and consistency: It is important to avoid distractions and maintain a positive mindset.
While one month may not be enough for in-depth mastery of all topics, it is enough to build a strong foundation, focus on high-weightage areas, and improve time management skills. Let’s explore a detailed one-month preparation plan.
Objective: Understand the syllabus along with the strengths and weaknesses, and cover basic concepts.
Day 7: English Language
Objective: Deepen understanding of high-weightage topics, improve accuracy, and build speed.
Tips for Week 2:
Objective: Simulate exam conditions, refine time management, and address weaknesses.
Tips for Week 3:
Objective: Consolidate knowledge, fine-tune strategy, and boost confidence.
Important Note: In the last 15 days of your 1-month IBPS PO preparation, it is important to focus your attention completely on exam-oriented practice. Dedicate this period to taking full-length prelims mock tests daily to build speed, accuracy, and time management. Along with the mocks, constantly revise high-scoring topics like simplification, number series, puzzles, seating arrangement, reading comprehension, and error detection. Make it a point to solve a variety of questions from these areas to cover different difficulty levels. Also, practice previous years’ question papers to familiarise yourself with the actual exam pattern and frequently asked concepts.
