IDBI Assistant Manager Exam 2021: A total of 650 vacancies have been announced by the IDBI Bank for the Assistant General manager posts all over India. This exam although has many obligations and due processes attached to it. You are not placed as soon as you clear the exam. You have to go through 12 months of preliminary period training and internship.  

Program fees for this Course will be Rs.3,50,000/- (Rs. Three Lakh Fifty Thousand only) plus GST, as applicable, to be paid by the students in instalments as per a fixed schedule during the 1-year program (inclusive of course fees, lodging, boarding, and other fees, etc.).   

When you have to invest initially then it becomes important to know the salary expected. Knowing so helps you in calculating the cost-to-benefit ratio for yourself.  

So, here is how your pay scale would look if you start working as an AM at IDBI Bank.

The 1-year program is divided into two time periods. The first nine months is the training period where you will be paid a stipend worth Rs. 2500 every month.  

Post 9 months you will now be expected to go through a 3 months internship period. You will be paid Rs. 10,000 per month for the internship.

After joining the Bank’s services as Assistant Manager Grade ‘A’ on successful completion of the course: The extant basic pay applicable to Assistant Managers in Grade A is Rs.36,000/- per month in the pay scale of 36000-1490(7)-46430-1740 (2) –49910–1990(7)-63840 (17 years). The pay scales, allowances, reimbursements, perquisites and other terms subsisting at the time of joining and as may be modified/amended / revised from time to time would be applicable as per rules in force from time 11 to time.

The exact in-hand salary amount can’t be judged right now because the official notification mentions nothing except the basic pay which is Rs. 36,000. But we do know DA and perks are there. So, one should be hopeful about at least 53-55K per month.
