Q. 1 Is pursuing any PGDBF course required in Assistant Manager recruitment?

Ans No! The selection process involves Online Test (OT) => Document Verification (DV) => Personal Interview (PI) => Pre Recruitment Medical Test (PRMT). So you don’t need to pursue any PGDBF course. You can just clear these 4 steps and get this job.

Q.2 Is IDBI a government bank or a private bank?

Ans IDBI Bank Limited has been categorized as a ‘Private Sector Bank’ for regulatory purposes by Reserve Bank of India with effect from January 21, 2019, consequent upon Life Insurance Corporation Of India acquiring 51% of the total paid-up equity share capital of the bank. As of September 2021, Life Insurance Corporation holds 49.24% shareholding and the Government of India holds 45.48%, with LIC being in control of the management of the bank. So, IDBI is a private sector bank but its stakes are with LIC (which itself is under the ownership of Government of India) & Government of India.

Q. 3 Do I need any work experience to apply for the IDBI Assistant Manager post?

Ans Yes! Minimum 2 years of experience in Banks and financial service (including but not limited to Micro Finance Institutions/Non Banking Financial Companies/ Cooperative Banks/Regional Rural Banks/Fintech Companies) & Insurance Sector.
Please note that experience through an outsourcing vendor, service provider, KPO/BPO / IT support services provider or any akin / similar entity , third party payrolls, On contract (any entity) will not be considered.

Q. 4 Can I show less than 6 months of experience while applying?

Ans No! Experience below 06 months in any organization will not be reckoned.

Q. 5 I have pursued a diploma course (not graduation). Can I apply?

Ans No! Passing only a diploma course will not make you eligible for these vacancies. You need to have a graduation degree.

Q. 6 Are there sectional cut-offs in the online test?

Ans Yes! Candidates have to qualify in each of the four tests/sections, by securing cut-off marks as decided by the Bank.

Q. 7 How much weightage is to be given to online test and interview for final merit listing?

Ans The category wise merit/wait list of the candidates will be prepared as per the following formula:

Final Score = 3/4 of Online Test Score +1/4 of Interview Score.

My graduation results will be released in the month of February 2023. Can I apply for IDBI Asst Manager vacancies?

It’s clearly written in the official notification that the candidate must possess valid Mark-sheets (year/ semester wise or consolidated) and Degree/ Provisional Degree Certificate issued by the University showing that he/ she is a graduate as on January 01, 2023 before registration. So apply only if your graduations results bear the date January 01, 2023 or any date before this date.

Do I need to have Certificate/ Diploma/ Degree in computer operations/Language?

Yes! It is better that you have this Certificate/ Diploma/ Degree. Else you.should have studied Computer / Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/ College/ Institute.

Can I submit more than 1 application?

No, You should submit only & only 1 application. In case of multiple applications only the latest valid (complete) application will be accepted and the application fee / intimation charges paid for the multiple registration(s) will stand forfeited.
