IBPS SO Exam Pattern 2022: Prelims

Law officers and Rajbhasha Adhikari test patterns are different from other positions, so applicants must carefully review the exam patterns for the positions they have applied for.

The following exam pattern is for the post of Law officer & Rajbhasha Adhikari:

Reasoning sections– There will be 50 questions and each question consist of 1 mark
English Language- There will be 50 Questions and each question consist of 0.5 mark.
General Awareness with Special Reference to Banking Industry- There will be 50 questions and each question consist of 1 mark.

Total question = 150

Total marks = 125

Total Time = 120 min

For the position of Specialist Officers (Agriculture Field Officer, Marketing Officer (Scale I), HR/Personnel Officer, and IT Officer Scale I), the examination format is as follows.

Reasoning- There will be 50 questions

English Language- There will be 50 Questions
Quantitative Aptitude– There will be 50 questions

Total question = 150

Total marks = 125

Total Time = 120 min

IBPS SO Exam Pattern – Important Points

Rajbhasha Adhikari Scale I and Law Officer candidates would be chosen using the same IBPS SO 2022 exam format.
Unlike the exam patterns for law officers and Rajbhasha Adhikari officers, the exam patterns for all other positions are distinct.
There will only be one section of professional knowledge in the Mains Exam.

In the IBPS SO 2022 Exam’s Preliminary Exam, there will only be three sections to answer.

English Language, Reasoning, and General Awareness are the subjects tested in the preliminary exams for Rajbhasha Adhikari and Law Officer.
There are portions on the English Language, Reasoning, and Quantitative Aptitude that are required for different positions.
The Preliminary Exam’s score won’t be taken into account when making the final decision. For final allotment, the combined score from the Main Exam and interview process in the ratio of 80:20 will be considered.
