The IBPS PO Prelims Exam is going to be conducted on 17th August. As only 10 days are left, what should a serious aspirant be doing in such a crucial period? Whether they should focus on revision, or focus on completion of the syllabus, or just give as many mock tests as they can. Whatever you do, if you want to crack prelims and many other exams that are ongoing, then it is a must to spend at least 6-8 hours in preparation during these last few days. To help you and make sure that you are spending your time in the right place and direction, we have come up with an IBPS PO 10-day revision plan through this blog.
Before heading towards the strategy part, let’s just revise the prelims exam pattern.
| Section | Number of Questions | Maximum Marks | Time Allotted |
| English Language | 30 | 30 | 20 Minutes |
| Quantitative Aptitude | 35 | 30 | 20 Minutes |
| Reasoning Ability | 35 | 40 | 20 Minutes |
| Total | 100 | 100 | 60 Minutes |
We have given below a day-wise plan for the next few days, which contains all the necessary topics that you need to cover during the final days. One more thing, if you have not prepared the basics of any mentioned topics, then please skip learning them, as the time that you put into learning a new concept, then practicing it, will make you lose hold of other topics. As you will not get enough time to revise the already completed ones.
| Day | Topics to be read | Sections to be Revised | Mock test / Analysis |
| Day 1 | Do a proper analysis of previously attempted mocks of all the sections. | ||
| Day 2 | Formula revision(percentage-ratio conversion, units, cubes, square) | Quants | Quants sectional test |
| Day 3 | Puzzle Practice (Seating, Floor, Box), along with tricks and techniques | English & Quants | 1 Full Mock |
| Day 4 | Inequalities, Syllogism, Tough Puzzles | Reasoning | Topic Test – DI |
| Day 5 | RC + Para Jumbles(do it by using the techniques such as skip lines, etc) | English + Reading Speed | RC-Based Test |
| Day 6 | Do revise root words and idioms, and phrases in category-wise. Also do practice at least 5 DI sets along with Quadratic and Approximation | Reasoning | 1 Full Mock |
| Day 7 | Formula Rewind of Percentage, SI/CI | Quant | Mixed Quiz Practice |
| Day 8 | Again, analyse if you have made any mistakes in the mocks given in the last 5-6 days. | All Subjects | 1 Full Mock |
| Day 9 | Revision + Light Practice | Strong Areas | 1 Full Mock (10 AM Slot) |
| Day 10 | Final Touch + Mental Prep | Notes/Short Tricks | No mock – Mental Reset |
In the last 10 days, what strategy one should follow is given in this section. The points given below will . They just require some revision to brush up on the concepts thoroughly.
