IB Security Assistant Exam Analysis 2025
MHA is conducting the IB Security Assistant 2025 exam across India. As per the recruitment process, they have successfully conducted the first shift of the Tier 1 exam. Candidates who appeared in the exam and whose exam is scheduled to be conducted in the upcoming shifts must go through this blog. Quantitative Aptitude was of a moderate level. While some questions required calculation, most were from standard topics like arithmetic and DI. Speed and accuracy played an important role in this section.
The Reasoning section was relatively easier compared to the others. Questions were direct and logical, mostly from common topics like puzzles, series, coding-decoding, and direction. Most candidates attempted this section confidently.
English section was on the easier side. Questions were grammar-based with a good mix of vocabulary and comprehension. Candidates who practiced regularly found this section scoring and less time-consuming.
General Studies featured a mix of topics from Polity, History, Geography, and basic Science. Difficulty level was moderate. A few conceptual questions tested candidates’ understanding of static and factual knowledge.

The overall exam level was moderate with some tricky questions, especially in General Awareness and General Studies sections.
The English Language section was the easiest, with grammar and vocabulary-based questions that were straightforward and scored.
Around 75–80 attempts with good accuracy are considered a safe number for Shift 1.
