HPSCB Junior Clerk Recruitment 2026: Apply for 91 Vacancies (PACS/OCS Quota)

The Himachal Pradesh State Co-operative Bank Ltd. (HPSCB), a premier scheduled bank in the state, has announced a fresh recruitment drive for 91 posts of Junior Clerks. This recruitment is specifically under the PACS/OCS quota and will be conducted on a regular basis through IBPS, Mumbai.

If you are an employee of a Primary Agricultural Credit Society (PACS) or other cooperative societies in Himachal Pradesh, this is your chance to secure a stable career in the banking sector.

2. Vacancy Details (Quota-Wise)

The 91 vacancies are divided into two primary quotas based on the candidate’s professional background:

3. Eligibility Criteria (As of January 1, 2026)

The eligibility for these posts is highly specialized, requiring both educational qualifications and professional experience within the cooperative sector.

  • Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18 and 45 years old.
    • Born between: 02.01.1981 and 01.01.2008 (both days inclusive).
    • Relaxation: 5 years for SC, ST, OBC, WFF, and Physically Handicapped candidates of H.P..
  • Educational Qualification: * Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University.
    • Must have passed Matric and 10+2 from an institution in H.P. (Requirement waived for Bonafide Himachalis) .
  • Experience Requirement:
    • PACS Quota: Minimum 3 years of continuous service as a Secretary in a PACS.
    • OCS Quota: Minimum 5 years of continuous service in a cooperative society.
  • Professional Standing: The candidate must not be a defaulter (directly or indirectly) of their respective society.

4. Application Fee

The fee is non-refundable and varies by category:

5. Selection Process & Exam Pattern

The selection will be based entirely on a Single Phase Online Examination followed by document verification. Notably, there is no personal interview for the Junior Clerk post.

  • Total Duration: 150 minutes (2.5 hours) with no sectional timing.
  • Negative Marking: NONE.
  • Qualifying Marks: Minimum 40% overall.
  • Salary: Minimum Pay of Rs. 19,900/- (Level-2) + admissible allowances.

6. How to Apply

  1. Visit the official website: www.hpscb.bank.in.
  2. Click on “APPLY ONLINE” and register as a new user.
  3. Upload the required documents: Photograph, Signature (black ink), Left Thumb Impression, and Hand Written Declaration.
  4. Pay the application fee via the integrated online gateway.
  5. Save and print the application form and e-receipt for future reference.
