Start One Topic at One Time

Take the example of the topic ‘Alphabet Test’. Start with understanding its concept by reading it online/offline or by watching online videos. Once the concept is clear, start solving questions of different difficulty levels. Solve lots of questions on the topic and then move to the next topic. Any topic which doesn’t interest you can be left to be dealt with in the end. This way, prepare all the topics. Once you are thorough with a majority of the topics, start taking Mock Tests and see how much are you able to score in a controlled environment.

Level I

In the first level, we have put the topics which generally take the least time which are non-puzzle based questions like coding-decoding, syllogism, direction-sense related questions, blood relation questions etc. You may put any other topic (which takes very less time for you to solve) in this level. You should practice a lot of questions from all these topics as easy in nature and can be quickly answered. Don’t miss out on practising questions of different difficulty levels so that no matter what kind of question you face from any of these topics, you are able to solve all of them.

Level II

We have put critical reasoning, simple puzzles (blood relations, circular/linear seating arrangement, floor-based puzzle) and input-output as the topics in the second level. These questions take a little time but are doable for sure. You need to start practising these questions and solve a variety of questions. Keep an eye on your speed and accuracy as well and see that you don’t attract too much of negative marking. Put any other topic in this level which seems moderate to you.

Level III

Puzzles/Seating Arrangement (double line) puzzles which are difficult to solve, are put in this last category. These puzzles take a lot of time and although you should learn how to solve them, it is imperative that in the actual exam, you should start solving these only when you have solved questions from the first 2 categories.
