The Export Credit Guarantee Corporation of India (ECGC) conducts the ECGC PO Exam 2025 to recruit eligible candidates for the post of Probationary Officer (PO). ECGC PO Exam Pattern 2025

The ECGC PO Exam consists of two stages:

  • Stage 1: Online Written Examination (Objective + Descriptive)
  • Stage 2: Interview

The written exam tests conceptual understanding across five major subjects — Reasoning Ability, English Language, Computer Knowledge, General Awareness, and Quantitative Aptitude.

ECGC PO Objective Test Pattern 2025

The Objective Test carries 200 marks with 200 questions to be completed in 140 minutes (2 hours 20 minutes). Each section has a fixed time limit and must be attempted in the order presented on screen.

Important Points:

  • Each question carries 1 mark.
  • ⅓rd mark (0.33) will be deducted for every wrong answer.
  • Candidates must qualify in each section and overall cut-off to proceed to the next stage.

ECGC PO Descriptive Exam Pattern 2025

The Descriptive Test is conducted immediately after the Objective Test to assess candidates’ writing skills. It comprises two questions for a total of 40 marks and must be completed in 40 minutes.
