1 vacancy is reserved horizontally under categories such as Orthopedic, Visual, Hearing, and other specified disabilities. All positions are PAN-India, meaning candidates may be posted anywhere across the country.

ECGC PO Eligibility Criteria 2025

In this section, we are providing the eligibility criteria following which candidates can apply for the exam. 

Nationality

A candidate must be:

  • A citizen of India, or
  • A subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or
  • A Tibetan refugee (arrived before 1 January 1962), or
  • A person of Indian origin who has migrated from select countries with the intent to permanently settle in India.

ECGC PO 2025 Age Limit and Relaxation

As per the official ECGC PO 2025 notification, candidates must be between 21 and 30 years of age as on 1st November 2025. This means the candidate must have been born not earlier than 2nd November 1995 and not later than 1st November 2004 (both dates inclusive).

Note:

  • The relaxation for SC/ST/OBC is cumulative with only one of the remaining categories for which age relaxation is permitted.
  • Candidates belonging to the OBC category must submit a valid Non-Creamy Layer certificate as per Government of India guidelines.
  • Candidates applying under multiple categories can claim relaxation for only one applicable category.

ECGC PO 2025 Educational Qualification

Candidates must ensure that their educational qualifications are from a recognised university or institution approved by the Government of India. The final result should be declared on or before 1st November 2025, and valid proof must be submitted during the interview.

  • Candidates will be required to produce valid proof of result declaration on or before 01.11.2025 at the time of the interview.

ECGC PO Salary Structure 2025

The ECGC Probationary Officer will be appointed in the pay scale of ₹88,635–4385(14)–150025–4750(4)–169025. The approximate CTC in Mumbai is ₹20 lakhs per annum including allowances such as DA, HRA/lease reimbursement, medical, mobile, newspaper, transport, and other benefits.

ECGC PO Service Bond

Selected candidates must execute a bond equivalent to three months’ salary and serve ECGC Ltd. for a minimum of three years.
If they leave earlier, they will have to compensate the organization with the bond amount and serve a three-month notice period.

Candidates shortlisted in the online exam will be called for an interview at Delhi or Mumbai. Final selection will be based on combined performance in both stages. The recruitment process comprises two stages:

Key Notes for Specialist Exam:

  • The Professional Knowledge section will test translation skills, Hindi and English grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and practical application of Rajbhasha in official communication.

Documents Required for ECGC PO 2025 Application

While filling out the ECGC PO 2025 online form, candidates must upload:

  • Photograph: Recent colour photo (20–50 KB, 200×230 px, JPG/JPEG).
  • Signature: Black ink on white paper (10–20 KB, 140×60 px). Not in capitals.
  • Left Thumb Impression: Blue/black ink on white paper (20–50 KB).
  • Handwritten Declaration: In English, written by the applicant – “I, ______, declare that all information submitted is true…” (50–100 KB).

All documents must be clear, in JPG/JPEG format, and within the specified size limits. At the interview stage, candidates must produce originals and photocopies of educational certificates, identity proof, caste/category or EWS certificate, disability/NOC (if applicable), and proof of date of birth. Incorrect or blurred uploads may lead to rejection — apply carefully before 2 December 2025.
