The SBI Clerk Mains Exam 2025 is over, and many candidates are now waiting for the final joining. If you have cleared the exam, congratulations! Now it’s time to get ready with your documents for the final joining process. To help you avoid any last-minute issues, here we are providing you the a simple list of the documents you need to carry during the SBI Clerk joining.

List of Important Documents

 Here is the list of important documents you need at the time of joining :

1. Proof of Date of Birth

You need to show a valid document that mentions your date of birth. You can carry:

  • Class 10th certificate (most commonly accepted)
  • Birth certificate (if available)

Make sure the date of birth on your certificates matches the details filled in your application.

2. Educational Certificates

You have to provide proof of your educational qualification as required for the SBI Clerk post. This includes:

  • Class 10 mark sheet and certificate
  • Class 12 mark sheet and certificate
  • Graduation mark sheets (all semesters or years)
  • Final degree certificate or provisional certificate from your university

All certificates should be from recognized boards/universities.

3. Valid Photo ID Proof (Any One)

You must bring a government-approved ID card. Carry original + one photocopy of any one of these:

  • Aadhaar Card
  • PAN Card
  • Passport
  • Voter ID
  • Driving License

The ID must have your photo and correct personal details.

4. Caste or Category Certificate (If Applicable)

If you have applied under any reserved category like SC, ST, OBC, or EWS, bring:

  • The original caste/category certificate
  • Issued by a competent authority
  • In Central Government format

For OBC candidates, make sure your certificate mentions “non-creamy layer” and is valid as per the joining date.

5. PwD Certificate (If Applicable)

Candidates belonging to the Persons with Disabilities (PwD) category must submit:

  • A valid disability certificate
  • Issued by a Medical Board or Chief Medical Officer (CMO)
  • It must mention the type and percentage of disability

6. Ex-Servicemen Certificate (If Applicable)

If you’re an ex-serviceman, you need to produce:

  • A discharge certificate
  • Or any service-related documents to verify your background

7. Character Certificates

To confirm your good conduct, submit:

  • One certificate from the head of your last educational institution
  • One from a gazetted officer (or any authorized person)

These certificates should not be older than 6 months.

8. Recent Passport-Sized Photographs

  • Carry at least 3 recent passport-size color photographs
  • The photo should match the one uploaded in your application
  • Photos must be clear and not older than 3 months

9. No Objection Certificate (NOC) for Employed Candidates

If you are currently working in:

  • Any Government organization, or
  • Any Public Sector Unit (PSU)
    Then, you must bring:
  • A No Objection Certificate (NOC) from your current employer

This confirms that your employer has no objection to you joining SBI.
