IBPS SO Syllabus and Exam Pattern 2019

Before beginning their preparation for the Specialist Officer (SO) exam, a candidate should become familiar with the IBPS SO Syllabus and Exam Pattern 2019. The IBPS SO Exam will be divided into the prelims, main, and personal interview phases. Candidates should create their own preparation strategy and devote all of their time to it after being familiar with the material and exam format. IBPS SO Exam Pattern 2019: Prelims

Law officers and Rajbhasha Adhikari test patterns are different from other positions, so applicants must carefully review the exam patterns for the positions they have applied for.

The following exam pattern is for the post of Law officer & Rajbhasha Adhikari:

  • Reasoning sections–  There will be 50 questions and each question consist of 1 mark
  • English Language- There will be 50 Questions and each question consist of 0.5 mark.
  • General Awareness with Special Reference to Banking Industry- There will be 50 questions and each question consist of 1 mark.
Total question = 150Total marks = 125 Total Time = 120 min

For the position of Specialist Officers (Agriculture Field Officer, Marketing Officer (Scale I), HR/Personnel Officer, and IT Officer Scale I), the examination format is as follows.

  • Reasoning- There will be 50 questions
  • English Language- There will be 50 Questions
  • Quantitative Aptitude– There will be 50 questions
