Before applying, make sure you have checked your eligibility criteria.

1. Nationality/Citizenship: The candidate must be a citizen of India.

2. Age Limit: The age limit is from 18 to 25 years as of July 1, 2025. This means candidates should not have been born earlier than July 2, 2000, and no later than July 1, 2007. Delhi Police Constable Selection Process 2025

To recruit candidates, SSC follows a selection process that is designed to test a candidate’s abilities and physical fitness.

1. Computer-Based Examination (CBE): This is the first stage of the section process. It is an objective-type, multiple-choice paper with 100 questions carrying 100 marks. The rest of the details are provided below.
2. Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT): Candidates who qualify for the first stage will be shortlisted for the PE&MT. This test is of a qualifying nature and will be conducted by the Delhi Police in Delhi. It includes a race, long jump, and high jump. Physical measurements for height and chest (for male candidates) will also be taken during this stage.
3. Medical Examination: Shortlisted candidates who qualify in the PE&MT and Document Verification will undergo a medical examination.

Stage 2: Physical Endurance & Measurement Test (PE&MT)

Candidates who pass the Computer-Based Examination (CBE) will become eligible to appear for stage 2, which is Physical Endurance & Measurement Test (PE&MT). It will be conducted by Delhi Police only at venues in Delhi. This stage is qualifying in nature (no marks are awarded), but it is mandatory to get selected.

Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT) for Male Candidates

The Physical Endurance Test (PET) for male candidates, including ex-servicemen and departmental candidates, is conducted as per the age-wise standards given below:
