1. Nationality/Citizenship: The candidate must be a citizen of India.
2. Age Limit: The age limit is from 18 to 25 years as of July 1, 2025. This means candidates should not have been born earlier than July 2, 2000, and no later than July 1, 2007. 3. Educational Qualification: The required educational qualification is a 10+2 (Senior Secondary) pass from a recognized board, as of the closing date of the application, which is October 21, 2025.
4. Driving License: Male candidates must have a valid LMV (Light Motor Vehicle) driving license for a motorcycle or car as of the date of the Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT). A learner’s license is not acceptable.
The application must be submitted online through the SSC’s new website, https://ssc.gov.in, or the ‘my SSC’ mobile app. You must first complete a one-time registration (OTR) on the new portal. Candidates who pass the Computer-Based Examination (CBE) will become eligible to appear for stage 2, which is Physical Endurance & Measurement Test (PE&MT). It will be conducted by Delhi Police only at venues in Delhi. This stage is qualifying in nature (no marks are awarded), but it is mandatory to get selected.
The Physical Endurance Test (PET) for male candidates, including ex-servicemen and departmental candidates, is conducted as per the age-wise standards given below:
