1. The number of vacancies (including reserved posts) is provisional and may change as per BRBNMPL’s actual requirements.
2. In case of multiple applications, only the latest valid one will be considered; fees for others will be forfeited.
3. Reservations for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD (OH & HI)/Ex-Servicemen are as per Government of India norms.
4. For Process Assistant Grade-I (Post Code 5), two vacancies are reserved for PwBD in OH or HI categories.
   • OH (Orthopedically Handicapped): Includes locomotor disability or cerebral palsy with 40% or more disability.
   • HI (Hearing Impaired): Hearing loss of 60 decibels or more in the better ear.
   • Eligible candidates must produce a valid Disability Certificate.
   • Candidates with cerebral palsy affecting writing speed may use their own scribe (at their cost) as per Clause 8(xvi).

Deputy Manager (Post Code 1 – Printing)

• For external candidates: Should have passed B.E./B.Tech in Printing Technology/Engineering with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) from a Govt. recognised institute. Should also have at least 2 years of post-qualification experience in a reputed printing industry, preferably in security printing.
• For internal candidates: Should have passed B.E./B.Tech in Printing and completed 2 years of service in the company OR should have passed Diploma in Printing and completed 10 years of service. Candidates with equivalent qualifications are not eligible.

Deputy Manager (Post Code 2 – Electrical)

• For external candidates: Should have passed B.E./B.Tech/AMIE in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics / Power Engineering with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) from a Govt. recognised institute. Should also have at least 2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing unit/PSU, preferably in HT/LT substation maintenance, PLCs, or SCADA systems.
• For internal candidates: Same qualification + 2 years of service in the company OR Diploma in relevant field + 10 years of service. Equivalent qualifications will not be considered.

Deputy Manager (Post Code 3 – Computer Science)

• For external candidates: Should have passed B.E./B.Tech/AMIE in Computer Science Engineering with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) from a Govt. recognised institute. Should also have at least 2 years of post-qualification experience in software development/maintenance/upgradation in a reputed company, preferably a CMMI Level 5 organisation.
• For internal candidates: Same qualification + 2 years of service in the company OR Diploma in Computer Science + 10 years of service. Equivalent qualifications are not accepted.

Deputy Manager (Post Code 4 – General Management)

• For external candidates: Should be a graduate with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) and either (a) Master’s in Management / Business Admin / Personnel / Materials Management or (b) equivalent PG diploma in the same fields. Should also have 2 years of post-qualification experience in a reputed production/manufacturing unit.
• For internal candidates: Same educational qualification as above + 2 years of service in the company. Equivalent branches will not be accepted.

Note:

• Educational qualifications must be from Govt. recognised institutions. Where CGPA/OGPA is awarded, its percentage equivalent must be mentioned.
• Applications without this information may be rejected.
• Ex-servicemen must fulfil post-qualification experience criteria and produce a certificate from the employer at the time of interview/skill test.

Process Assistant Grade–I (Trainee) (Post Code 5)

• Option 1: Should have passed Diploma in Printing / Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Chemical Engineering with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST) from a Govt.-recognised institute. Should also have at least 1 year of post-qualification experience in production/maintenance in Printing, Pre-press, Pulp & Paper, Ink, or Paint industries.
• Option 2: Should have passed ITI/NTC/NAC in relevant trades with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST) from a Govt.-recognised institute. Should also have 2 years of experience in the above industries. For NAC holders, 1 year of apprentice training will be counted towards experience.

Note:

• Qualifications must be from Govt.-approved institutions.
• CGPA must be converted to percentage.
• Ex-servicemen must fulfil experience criteria and produce valid proof during document verification.

BRBNMPL Age Limit

Check out the age limit needed to apply for the exam as on 31st August 2025:

Deputy Manager (Post Codes 1 to 4): Should not be more than 31 years of age. (i.e., applicants born on or after 01/09/1994 are eligible). There is no upper age limit for internal candidates of BRBNMPL.

Process Assistant Grade–I (Trainee) (Post Code 5): The Minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 28 years (i.e., applicants born between 01/09/1997 and 31/08/2007 – both dates inclusive)

Age Relaxation

Relaxation in upper age limit (for both posts):
a) Up to 5 years for SC/ST candidates
b) Up to 3 years for OBC candidates
c) Up to 10 years for PwBD candidates

• For PwBD applicants from SC/ST/OBC category, this 10-year relaxation is in addition to regular category-wise relaxation.
  d) For Ex-Servicemen:
• Relaxation = length of military service + 3 years
• Subject to:
  i) Minimum 6 months of continuous service post attestation
  ii) Age after deducting service must not exceed the upper age limit by more than 3 years
• However, the maximum age should not exceed 50 years in any case.
• Proof of service release must be provided in the prescribed format.

Note:

i) Ex-Servicemen already employed in a civil post under Central Govt. may avail age relaxation for another higher post, but will not be eligible for Ex-Servicemen reservation in BRBNMPL.
ii) Certificate for Ex-Servicemen must be issued by:

• Army: Concerned Regimental Record Office
• Navy: Naval Records, Mumbai
• Air Force: Air Force Record Office, New Delhi

BRBNMPL Examination Fees

It is also important to know about the exam fee and get ready with it before filling up the application form. For instance, all the candidates will have to pay Rs 600 to apply for Deputy Manager (Post Codes 1 to 4). But there is no fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Women/Ex-Servicemen/Internal (BRBNMPL) applicants. Then, the Rs 400 is payable for the applicants for Process Assistant Grade-I (Trainee). As per the official notification, the fee once paid will not be refunded or kept for future use.

Also, there is no fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Women/Ex-Servicemen applicants.
